A Heart for Virginia Giuffre

A woman who stood unflinching in the face of unthinkable power. Known to the world as a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s vile web of sex trafficking, Virginia didn’t just endure — she rose. She dared to speak truth to the most protected of men, confronting not only Jeffrey Epstein, not only Ghislaine Maxwell, but also Prince Andrew — and by extension, an entire Royal Family cloaked in centuries of privilege.

Because of her bravery, Ghislaine Maxwell is behind bars. Because of her voice, Prince Andrew lost his titles, his stature, and the illusion of untouchability. And while Epstein escaped justice on Earth, the hope remains that hell is his final prison.

But courage comes with a cost. And Virginia bore that weight with a grace the world scarcely deserves. The emotional toll of surviving, fighting, and continuing onward in the face of such immense pain is something most of us can only begin to imagine.

This weekend, that pain became too much. And Virginia chose to end her life.

Today, I dedicate this heart image to her — not only as a symbol of grief, but of reverence. For the strength it took to speak out. For the fire it took to keep going. For the way she changed the world, even as it tried to silence her.

Her legacy is not just in courtrooms or headlines — it lives in every survivor who dares to step forward. It’s woven into the fabric of justice, and into the growing chorus that demands we believe women, protect the vulnerable, and dismantle systems that hide abuse behind power.
